LPPM UIN Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi held an Interactive Seminar and Dialogue with the theme “The role of students and academics in PDTT village development” in the Rectorate Hall, Floor III, UIN Simpang Sungai Duren Campus, Friday (18/6). The event was opened by the Deputy Chancellor for General Administration, Planning and Finance, Dr. As’ad, M.Pd. Also present at this activity were the Deputy Chancellor for Cooperation and Student Affairs  Dr. FraFar  , MA., Head of LPPM Dr. Ayub Mursalin, Secretary of LPPM, Head of the Study Center at UIN Sutha Jambi and student representatives from Dema, Sema and HMJ administrators at UIN Jambi.

Vice Chancellor II in his speech on behalf of the Chancellor expressed his thanks to Dodik who was willing to attend UIN Jambi to be a resource for Seminars and Interactive Dialogues. He hopes that after this event UIN Jambi can collaborate with the PDTT Village Ministry.

“The Chancellor wishes, the Minister would like to receive an audience with the Chancellor (UIN Jambi). “We have collaborated with the Ministry of PUPR, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, and the Ministry of Villages is also a priority to visit,” he said.

This is important because it is related to the vision and mission of UIN Jambi as a locomotive for change and how UIN Jambi plays a role and is involved in all sectors to advance Jambi.

Dodik Pranata Wijaya as Special Staff to the Minister of PDTT Villages as resource person for the Seminar and Interactive Dialogue welcomed the Chancellor’s desire to collaborate with the Ministry of PDTT Villages.

“Currently there are 79 universities that have become partners of the PDTT Village Ministry, hopefully UIN Jambi will become the 80th partner,” he said.

When interviewed, the Head of the Community Service Center (PPM), Drs. Ali Usmar, M. Pd, expressed support and encouragement for UIN Jambi to collaborate with the PDTT Village Ministry.

“We encourage and support UIN Jambi as a partner of the PDTT Village Ministry and establish collaboration. “UIN Jambi is ready to build villages, ” he said.

The activity ran solemnly and participants enthusiastically took part in interactive seminars and dialogue activities.
